Description
Orignially the M1, it was redesignated after WW2. It used its 155 mm gun to provide general fire support over nine miles.
The recoil mechanism and gun carriage of this cannon were built at the Arsenal, while the barrel was built at Watervielt Arsenal in New York. This cannon was restored and repainted in, yep, 1997.
